SEASONED BAKED CHICKEN 
1 fryer, cut up
3 toes garlic
1 stalk celery
Salt & pepper to taste
1/2 c. water
3/4 onion
1/4 lg. bell pepper
Parsley, minced
3/4 stick butter

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Wash chicken and salt and pepper to taste. Lay chicken in a large baking pan. Cut onion, garlic, bell pepper in rings and place on top of chicken. Sprinkle minced parsley on top. Cut up stick of butter and lay on top of chicken. Add water and put uncovered in oven until chicken is brown, about 30 minutes. Baste frequently. Cover and cook for 20 to 30 minutes more.
