CAROL'S SHEPHERDS PIE 
2 lbs. chopped meat
1 env. onion-mushroom soup mix
1 (15 oz.) can diced peas & carrots
8 med. to lg. potatoes, peeled & boiled
1/2 c. milk
6 slices American cheese
Dehydrated onion
Garlic salt
Pepper to taste
Butter (approx. 1/2 c.)

Brown meat with onion-mushroom soup mix in skillet; drain. Mix in drained peas and carrots.

Meanwhile, mash potatoes with remaining ingredients. Spread meat in casserole dish; cover with mashed potato mixture. Bake in 350 degree oven for 1/2 hour. Serves 4-6.
