CRESCENT ROLLS 
1 pkg. yeast
1 c. warm water
3/4 c. evaporated milk, undiluted
1 tbsp. salt
1/3 c. sugar
1 egg
5 c. flour
1/4 c. butter, melted & cooled
1 egg, beaten with 1 tsp. water for brushing top before baking

Soften yeast in 1 cup warm water. Add milk, salt, beaten egg and 1 cup of flour. Beat, then add melted butter. Cut in 1 cup butter into 4 cups flour until size of beans. Pour yeast mixture over flour and blend carefully. Cover with plastic and refrigerate overnight or up to 4 days. Put dough on floured board and divide into 4 parts or balls. Roll out to 12-15 inch diameter. Cut each circle into 8 pieces and roll up. Let rise at room temperature for about 2 hours. Brush with egg mixture. Bake at 225 degrees for about 35 minutes or 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
