CHOCOLATE CARAMEL DESSERT 
Mix one German chocolate cake mix according to box directions. Pour 1/2 of batter in greased and floured 9"x13" pan. Bake 18 minutes at 350 degrees.

Melt 16 ounces caramels in 1/2 cup evaporated milk and add 1/4 cup butter. Pour over baked batter. Top with 1 cup chopped pecans and 12 ounces chocolate chips and rest of batter and bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees. If you like, serve with whipped topping.
