CAVEMAN STEAKS 
2 rib eyes bone in or any other steak you like, seasoned well
several large sticks
a fire pit
some large rocks

I like to marinade my steaks in salt, pepper, lemon juice, liquid smoke, and Worcestershire sauce.

Build a large fire in the fire pit. Let it burn to almost ashes. Drink a few beers along the way. Sharpen the sticks, real pointy on one end. Pierce the steak. Lean the steaks over the coals. Turn about every 10 minutes or every beer. Cook till you like it. Medium rare for me.

Finally, I found your cookbook. LOVE this recipe - even though I probably will not cook that way. Love the way you describe it - to a tee. Can picture the fire pit, cold beers, and just sitting outside on a nice night. Am too old now to do this... but definitely remember it. LOVE your descriptions. Please keep em' coming. Like reading a good book, but makes you hungry. Have another one - for me.
