QUICK AND EASY GRANDMA'S CHICKEN
Cut up chicken drumsticks and or thighs (any amount)
paprika
celery salt

Preheat oven to 450°F.

Wash chicken pieces under cold water and place in a 13x9-inch baking dish. Sprinkle on both sides of chicken celery salt first, then paprika

Bake at 450°F for a total cook time of 1 hour to 1 hour and half; turning pieces over once halfway through cooking.

Serve with a side dish of mashed or baked potatoes, if desired, or another side dish.

My grandmother used to make this whenever I came over to visit. A staple at her house. :) Yummy! Enjoy!!

Bobby... please submit any other of grandma's recipes you might have. Can hardly wait to try this. Have noticed that recipes with only 3 ingredients... are always outstanding - this has to be one of them... Will be on next weeks menu.

I make a similar dish with (cut-up not the whole wing) chicken wings and add 1/2 cup soy sauce, mix the celery salt, paprika and soy in a bowl, add the cleaned wings coat well, place on a cookie sheet, bake at 425°F for 25 minutes turn chicken over bake for another 25 minutes - I make a sauce of sweet and sour sauce and a little brown sugar - heat in a sauce pan - I know that sounds like a long time to bake but they a sooo delicious. Hope you enjoy.

Very easy and tasty, but I was afraid to cook thighs at that temp for so long, so I cooked at 350°F, delish.

This recipe was quick and easy, exactly what I was looking for. The chicken was crispy and so moist. Just a thought to start cooking the thighs bone down and to complete the process only turn once ending up with the skin side up at the end. Skin is so crispy and the flavor is delicious. Yum.

Incredible and easy, easy, easy, plus the taste is out of this world. Whoever came up with this recipe was an inspired cook. The hot oven crisps the chicken skin and the celery salt and paprika is an unlikely but perfect combination. This is my husband's new favorite and ever so much easier than frying chicken.
