1 lg. pkg. Oreo cookies
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
2 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
1 stick butter, softened
1 c. confectioners' sugar
1 lg. box chocolate instant pudding (mix as directed on box)

Mix 2/3 package crumbled cookies and 1 stick of butter. Put on bottom of glass 9 x 13 inch dish. Mix 1 (8 ounce) Cool Whip, cream cheese and sugar. Pour over cookies.

For next layer add pudding. Next layer top with 8 ounce Cool Whip. Top with remaining 1/3 package Oreo cookies crumbled over Cool Whip. Best if made a day ahead so cookies can soften.
