1 (3 lb.) beef roast 1 (3 lb.) pork roast 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. black pepper 1 tsp. garlic powder 1 sm. onion 3 pieces celery 4 carrots 2 c. water Combine beef and pork roasts in skillet or 5-quart Dutch oven and brown. Put in Dutch oven and all the vegetables and water. Bake in oven for 2 1/2 hours or until done at 350 degrees. Serves approximately 8 to 10 people. Cover pan for at least 2 hours, uncover to brown the last 1/2 hour. |
