1 lb. Jimmy Dean sausage, mild or hot 6 hard-boiled eggs, refrigerated Flour seasoned with seasoned salt 2 beaten eggs, lightly seasoned with salt & pepper Plain bread crumbs Shortening Mold sausage around hard-boiled eggs. Dip into seasoned flour, beaten eggs, then bread crumbs. Deep fry in shortening until golden brown. Drain and cut eggs delights in half for appetizers. Garnish with paprika. Eggs and sausage should be prepared several hours before using but kept refrigerated. Any leftover sausage may be used for another batch. 12 servings. |
