MOMA'S COOKIES 
2 c. self-rising flour
1 c. butter, softened
1 1/4 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. white sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flaked coconut
2 c. quick oatmeal
1 1/2 c. cereal (your choice)*
3/4 c. pecans

Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray cookie sheet with nonstick cooking spray. Cream together the butter, sugars, eggs and vanilla. Stir in coconut, oatmeal, cereal and pecans.

Bake at 350°F for 10 to 12 minutes for chewy, 12 to 15 minutes for crunchy. (We prefer chewy.)

*I use whatever cereal I have on hand. I've used Rice Krispies, Cheerios, Cocoa Pebbles, corn flakes and Frosted Flakes.
