MICROWAVE ENGLISH MUFFIN LOAF 
5 c. unsifted flour
2 pkg. dry yeast
1 tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking soda
2 c. milk
1/2 c. water
Cornmeal

Combine 3 cups flour, yeast, sugar, salt and baking soda. Heat milk and water until very warm (120 degrees). Add to dry ingredients and beat well (with mixer if you wish). Stir in remaining 2 cups flour to make stiff dough, spoon evenly into 2 glass loaf pans (you may use any glass container that will hold at least 1 1/2 quarts). Pans need to be greased and sprinkled with cornmeal. Let rise 45-60 minutes. Turn about every 2 minutes. Let rest 5 minutes before removing. Slice and toast like English muffins.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
