BARBECUED MEATBALLS #2 
3 lb. hamburger
2 c. oatmeal
1 c. chopped onion, or less
2 tsp. chili powder
12 oz. can evaporated milk
2 eggs
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. pepper

SAUCE:

2 c. catsup
1 1/2 tsp. liquid smoke
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. garlic powder

Mix first 9 ingredients together and shape into balls the size of walnuts. Place in flat pan, one layer to pan. Prepare sauce as listed above. Pour sauce over meatballs and bake covered with foil 1/2 hour and uncovered 1/2 hour at 350 degrees. These freeze well either baked or raw. Serves 10-12.
