MISSISSIPPI MUD CAKE 
CAKE:

2 sticks butter
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
Dash of salt
1 1/2 c. nuts, chopped
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. cocoa
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. vanilla

ICING:

1 box powdered sugar
1/2 stick butter
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/3 c. cocoa
1/2 c. milk

1 (10 oz.) pkg. miniature marshmallows

CAKE: Sift together the flour, cocoa, and baking powder. Mix all the cake ingredients together well. Pour into well-greased 9x13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until done.

Mash 1 (10 oz.) package of miniature marshmallows on top of hot cake, top with icing.

ICING: Mix powdered sugar, butter, vanilla, cocoa and milk together. Spread on top of marshmallows and cake.
