MICROWAVE MILLIONAIRES | |
1 (14 oz.) pkg. caramels 2 1/2 tbsp. canned milk 2 c. chopped pecans 1 (4 oz.) milk chocolate candy bar 1 (1 x 1 x 2 inch) piece paraffin, thinly shaved Combine caramels and milk in 2 quart glass mixing bowl. Microwave on high for 3 1/2 minutes, stirring once during cooking time. Remove from microwave and stir until smooth. Add pecans and mix well. Drop by teaspoonful onto waxed paper and set aside to cool. While caramel mixture is cooling, combine chocolate and paraffin in 4 cup glass measuring cup. Microwave on high for 5 minutes, stirring twice during cooking time. Dip caramel pieces in chocolate and place on waxed paper to cool. Store in airtight container. Makes 3 dozen candies. |
