BLUEBERRY BUTTER 
8 c. fresh blueberries
8 lg. green cooking apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
8 c. sugar
1 tsp. ground allspice
1 tsp. ground mace
1 tsp. ground nutmeg

Combine all ingredients in large saucepan. Bring to a boil, lower heat and simmer for 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Cook until mixture into sterilized glasses. Seal and cool. Store jars in a cool dry place. Yield: about 8 pints.
