CHICKEN CASSEROLE | |
1 hen or 2 frying chickens 1 pt. carton sour cream 1 can cream of chicken soup 1 1/2 c. cracker crumbs (Ritz crackers) 1/4 lb. butter 2 tbsp. poppy seeds Cook chicken until tender. Cool and cut into big chunks. Mix the sour cream and soup. Add to chicken and spread in a greased casserole. Melt butter, add the cracker crumbs, and the poppy seeds and mix together and spread over the top of the chicken. Bake 25 minutes at 325 degrees. |
