OVEN BARBEQUED BRISKET 
2 lbs. beef brisket
1 tbsp. oil
1/2 onion, diced
6 oz. ketchup
Hot sauce to taste
1 1/2 tbsp. grape jelly
1 tbsp. vinegar
1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

In 8 quart pot over high heat, heat brisket covered with water to boiling. Reduce to low. Cover and simmer 1 - 1 1/2 hours until fork tender. In saucepan heat onion and oil until tender. Add ketchup, jelly, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, 1/4 teaspoon salt, hot sauce to taste and 1/8 cup water. Heat to boiling while stirring. Reduce to low and simmer uncovered 5-10 minutes. Cover and set aside.

Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Remove brisket from liquid and place in baking dish. Spread 1/2 sauce on brisket. Bake 15 minutes until thick and bubbly. Serve sliced with extra BBQ sauce.
