1 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. peanut butter
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 egg
2 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Shape into balls and roll in sugar. Place on ungreased sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 8 minutes. Remove and place candy kiss on top. Press down and bake for 2 to 5 minutes longer.
