BRAISED CUCUMBER 
4 lg. cucumbers, about 2 lb. peeled
1 can (10 3/4 oz.) condensed chicken broth
1 c. diagonally sliced celery
2 tbsp. diced pimento
1 tsp. lemon juice
1/8 tsp. dried chervil leaves, crushed

Slice cucumbers in half lengthwise; remove seeds. Cut into 1 inch pieces. In saucepan, combine all ingredients. Cover. Bring to boil. Simmer 5 minutes. Stir occasionally. Drain. Garnish with lemon slices. Makes about 5 cups.

Broth: Serve broth in cup. Makes about 1 1/2 cups.
