1/4 cup white wine vinegar
2/3 cup salad oil or mixture of salad and olive oil
1 egg
1/4 tsp. dry mustard
1/4 tsp. dried thyme
1 tbsp. lemon juice
Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste

Combine all ingredients in a jar with tight fitting lid. Shake thoroughly to blend. Chill.

Makes 1 cup.
