CABBAGE BEEF SOUP 
2 to 3 med. potatoes, sliced in chunks
3 to 4 carrots, sliced in 1/4 inch rounds
2 med. onions, sliced in chunks
1/2 head cabbage shredded
1 (15 oz.) can whole or stewed tomatoes with juice
1 (16 oz.) can chili
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
Garlic
Worcestershire sauce

Combine all above into large boiler, add water to cover, stir to mix. Add salt, pepper, garlic (minced or powdered), dash of Worcestershire to suit your taste. Bring to a rolling boil, then reduce heat to simmer for 1 1/2 hours. Add more liquid if needed.

NOTE: Especially good if you use homemade chili. You may also add any leftover veggies you might have in the refrigerator such as peas, beans, broccoli, etc.
