ST. PAUL'S RICE 
1/2 c. UNCLE BEN'S® long grain rice
1 pkg. Lipton's dry chicken noodle soup
1 lb. lean sausage, (hot if you prefer)
1 lg. green pepper, finely chopped
1 med. onion, finely chopped
1/2 c. slivered almonds, optional

Cook rice in 3 cups water for 7 minutes. (Can use minute rice, but make equivalent amount.) Set aside and add dry chicken noodle soup. Brown sausage and drain well.

Combine rice, sausage, bell pepper, onion and slivered almonds. Place in large casserole dish. Cook 45-60 minutes in 350 degree oven. If browning too fast, cover for last 15 minutes. (Good for a buffet or a large group. Freezes nicely.)
