LO-CAL BROCCOLI RICE CASSEROLE | |
4 tbsp. low-calorie butter 1/4 c. onion, diced 1 1/3 c. Minute Rice, uncooked 1/2 tsp. salt Dash garlic salt 2 (10 oz.) pkgs. frozen broccoli, cooked 1 1/2 c. water, boiling 1/2 c. skim milk 1 (8 oz.) jar Cheez Whiz Saute onions in butter. Add dry rice and fry until golden brown. Remove from heat. Add salt and boiling water. Cover until absorbed. Meanwhile, cook broccoli. In 2 quart casserole mix rice and drained broccoli, milk and cheese. Bake, uncovered at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Serves 4; each serving = 1 bread, 2 protein, 1 1/2 fat, 2 vegetables. |
