2 eggs, well beaten
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
1 c. melted shortening
4 c. of flour with 1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt

Mix and using 1/2 of dough at a time roll out.

Spread filling: 1/2 c. sugar 1/2 c. water

Cook until soft. let cool. Sprinkle with ground nut meats and roll. Chill and slice thin. Bake in 350 degree oven for 12-15 minutes.
