CHOCOLATE CHERRY BARS 
1 pkg. fudge cake mix
21 oz. can cherry pie filling
1 tsp. almond extract
2 eggs, beaten

FROSTING:

1 c. sugar
5 tbsp. butter
1/3 c. milk
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate pieces

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour 13 x 9 inch pan. Combine first 4 ingredients and stir well until mixed. Pour into pan and bake 25-35 minutes until toothpick in middle comes out clean.

In small saucepan combine sugar, butter, and milk. Boil, stirring constantly, for 1 minute. Remove from heat and stir in chocolate chips until smooth. Pour over bars and let cool. Yields 3 dozen bars.
