CHICKEN TURNOVERS 
Equally tasty for a coffee or as hors d'oeuvres.

1 1/2 c. butter, softened
9 oz. cream cheese, softened
3 c. sifted flour
1 (5 oz.) can boned chicken, flaked
1 c. cream of mushroom soup
Paprika

Prepare pastry by mixing butter; cheese and flour; chill. Roll thinly on a lightly floured board and cut in 2 1/2 inch rounds. Put about 1/2 teaspoon of the chicken and soup mixture on each round; fold dough over and press edges with a damp fork and prick top. Sprinkle with paprika and bake at 400 degrees for about 15 minutes. These can be frozen before baking. Makes about 75 with pastry remaining.

NOTE: If you desire more turnovers, you will need additional filling. Otherwise, adapt any leftover pastry to Chewy Cream Cheese Cookies.
