WINE POT ROAST 
4-5 lb. chuck roast
Garlic, salt, and pepper
3 tbsp. vinegar
4 tsp. ketchup
2 tbsp. sugar
1 can mushrooms, not drained
1 1/4 c. red wine

Rub meat with garlic and brown in oil. Add vinegar quickly and cover. Steam a few minutes. Combine remaining ingredients and add to meat. Cover and cook slowly in 300 degree oven about 2 1/2 hours or until meat is tender. Thicken gravy with flour mixed with water. Serves about 6.
