STEAK SOUP 
1 lb. hamburger
1 stick butter
1 c. flour
2 qts. water
1 c. diced onion
2 tsp. beef broth
1 c. carrots
1 c. celery

Melt butter. Whip in flour and stir in water. Parboil vegetables (can use water from this for the 2 quarts). Brown beef. Drain and add to rest of ingredients. Simmer until thickened (or cook for 2 hours if vegetables are not parboiled).
