HEARTY STEAK SOUP 
3 lbs. ground beef
2 (1 lb.) cans stewed tomatoes
1 pkg. onion soup mix
8 c. water
2 c. chopped onion
2 c. diced carrots
2 c. diced celery
1 bag (4 c.) frozen mixed vegetables
1/2-1 stick butter
4 beef cubes
1 c. flour
2 tsp. pepper
Salt to taste
1/2 tsp. Accent (opt.)
2 tsp. Kitchen Bouquet

Brown beef; drain off grease and set aside meat. Make a thin white sauce with butter, flour and water. Stir until smooth. Add all other ingredients and stir in browned meat. Simmer for 2 to 3 hours. This makes 5 quarts so use a large Dutch oven or kettle. Makes 16 servings.
