MOM'S EASY SPANISH FLAN 
1 can evaporated milk
1 c. water
4 eggs
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

TOPPING:

3/4 c. sugar

Brown 3/4 cup sugar until melted completely. Pour in an ungreased round 1 quart casserole dish. Mix all ingredients together and pour on top of melted sugar. Bake 1 1/2 hours at 350 degrees (to keep flan from getting bubbles in it, place your dish in a large broiling pan with about 2 inches of water while baking). Refrigerate overnight.

To serve, run a knife around edge to loosen, place a plate on top of dish and flip it over. Cut into pie slices.
