ROAST BEEF STEW 
1 tbsp. Crisco oil
1 tbsp. flour
1 chopped onion
3-4 potatoes
1 can roast beef

Put about 1 tablespoon Crisco oil in pan and get it hot. Stir in 1 tablespoon flour and a chopped onion. Brown the mixture well. Add enough water to make a gravy the consistency of cream. But don't season it. Peel and cube 3 or 4 potatoes. Drop into the gravy and steam over low heat until the potatoes are tender. Open your can of roast beef, break it into chunks. Add to your gravy and serve with sliced tomatoes or lettuce.
