SWEET SOUR BASTING SAUCE 
1 1/3 tbsp. cornstarch
3/4 c. vinegar
1 c. firmly packed
Brown sugar
1/2 c. tomato ketchup
1/2 c. unsweetened pineapple juice
1 tsp. soy sauce

In 1 quart saucepan, combine cornstarch and vinegar. Add brown sugar, ketchup, pineapple juice and soy sauce. Stir to combine.

Heat over medium low heat. Stir constantly until mixture thickens, about 6 minutes. Use as a basting sauce for ribs, pork chops, hamburgers and chicken. May serve warm as an appetizer dip. Makes 2 cups.
