CHESS PIE 
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. raisins
1 c. chopped walnuts (chop nuts to measure 1 c.)

Cream sugar and butter. Push to side of bowl. Put in eggs; mix all together. Add other ingredients. Put in unbaked pie shell and bake for 15 or 20 minutes in 375 degree oven or until dark brown. Great served warm with vanilla ice cream.
