CHICKEN 'N DUMPLINGS 
3 lbs. chicken
1 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2/3 c. milk
1 egg
2-3 chicken bouillon cubes

Put chicken in large pot and cover with water, salt lightly. Boil until done. Take chicken out of water and let cool. Remove meat from cooked chicken when cooled. Set aside.

In large mixing bowl, mix flour, baking powder, salt, milk and egg. Stir together to form dough.

Bring broth to a full boil and put bouillon and chicken into broth.

On floured counter or cloth, roll out dough. Roll thin. Cut into strips and drop into broth. Dumplings are done when they float to the top.

You may need to add more water to broth prior to cooking dumplings so you'll have enough broth. Serves 5.
