DUMPLINGS (FOR CHICKEN AND
DUMPLINGS)
 
2 c. sifted flour
1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. butter
1 1/4 c. milk
1 egg

Beat egg and 3/4 cup milk together. Mix with remaining ingredients. Roll thin and cut into strips. Drop into boiling broth. After dumplings have cooked, add 1/2 cup milk. Remove from heat after it comes to a boil.
