MARINATED BEEF KABOBS 
1/4 c. dry red wine
2 tbsp. oil
1 lg. clove garlic, crushed
1 tsp. thyme
1/4 tsp. pepper
3 lb. boneless sirloin, cut in 1 1/2 inch cubes

Mix wine, oil, garlic, thyme and pepper in large plastic bag, then add meat. Push out air, tie bag securely and turn gently to coat meat. Store in bowl at room temperature 1 hour.

Arrange meat cubes about 12 inches apart on skewers. Broil in preheated broiler 3-4 inches from heat, approximately 10-12 minutes for rare to medium rare or until desired doneness, turning once. Serves 8.
