1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. peanut butter (creamy or nutty)
1 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1/4 c. milk
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 c. flour

Mix. Shape in balls. Roll in sugar. Place on Teflon cookie sheet. Make indentation with thumb. Fill the print with peanut butter. Dot with a chocolate chip. Bake 8 to 12 minutes in 350 degree oven. Ovens may vary.
