PORK CHOP HOT DISH
8-10 pork chops
1 1/2 c. chicken broth
1 tsp. pepper
2 c. uncooked rice
10 oz. frozen green beans
1 tsp. dill seed
1 can cream of mushroom soup

In large skillet brown pork chops seasoned with pepper. You may need to add cooking oil for browning depending on how fatty the pork chops are. Remove browned chops from pan and set aside.

Add chicken broth to pan with drippings and heat to broiling. Add rice to broth and simmer. Add frozen beans, dill seeds, and mushroom soup to rice and stir.

Place pork chops in ovenproof pan and cover with rice mixture. Cover and bake for 1 hour. The frozen beans may be parboiled before adding to the hot dish.

Very tasty. Family friendly meal. Easy to prepare and can be made with what you have on hand. Replace pork chops with chicken, mushroom soup with celery, frozen green beans with pearl onions or peas, etc. Highly recommend!
