PINEAPPLE CREAM CHEESE PIE | |
1/3 c. sugar 1 tbsp. cornstarch 1 (8 oz.) crushed pineapple & juice 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened 1/2 c. sugar 1/4 tsp. salt 2 eggs 1/2 c. milk 1/2 tsp. vanilla 9" unbaked pie crust Combine sugar, cornstarch and pineapple and juice. Cook until thick and clear, stirring constantly. Set aside. Blend cheese, sugar and salt; add eggs, 1 at a time, beating well, then 1/2 cup milk. Put in pie crust (pineapple first then cheese mix). Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes then at 325 degrees until done. |
