CHICKEN STEW | |
3-4 lb. chicken Boiling water 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. pepper 1/2 c. flour 2 tbsp. butter 1/3 tsp. celery salt Wash; clean fowl carefully. Cut in pieces. Cover with boiling water, cook until tender. Add seasoning when fowl is half cooked. Blend flour, butter; add little cold water to make smooth paste. Add to chicken about 10 minutes before ready to serve. |
