SUGAR COOKIES I 
1 c. butter (I use Parkay)
1 c. oil
2 eggs
1 c. sugar
1 c. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla & 1 tsp. almond extract
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. baking soda
4 1/2 c. flour

Mix all ingredients together with mixer. Chill dough several hours or overnight. Roll in balls the size of walnuts. Bake 10 minutes at 350 degrees. Frost with powdered sugar icing. I mix 1/4 cup butter with about 3 cups powdered sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla and 2 or 3 tablespoons milk. These have a very delicate texture because of the powdered sugar in the dough.
