TEXAS BRISKET | |
Approximately 4-6 lb. beef brisket 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. garlic salt 1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce 1/4 c. soy sauce 1/4 c. liquid smoke 2 tbsp. Kitchen Bouquet 1 tbsp. chopped onion (optional) Rub salts on meat. Mix marinade ingredients. Marinate meat wrapped in heavy foil 24 hours. Bake 5-7 hours at 250 degrees. OPTIONAL: When done, baste with good barbecue sauce. Slice across the grain. |
