MICROWAVE CARAMEL CORN 
16 c. popped corn
1 c. brown sugar
1 stick butter
1/4 c. Karo light syrup
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda

Put popped corn in a large brown paper bag. In two 2 1/2 quart bowl combine brown sugar, butter, syrup and salt. Bring to a boil on high power for 3 minutes. Stir mixture, boil for 1 minute, stir, boil for 1 minute, stir, boil for 1 minute. Remove and stir in baking soda until foamy. Pour foamy mixture over popped corn in sack and use a wooden spoon to stir corn and syrup in sack.

Roll sack down 2 folds and place in microwave for 1 minute and 15 seconds on high. Remove sack and shake. Place in oven for another 1 minute and 15 seconds. Remove and shake. Place in oven for 30 seconds more. Spread on waxed paper.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
