PEANUT BUTTER TEMPTATIONS 
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. crunchy peanut butter
1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
1/2 c. granulated sugar
Miniature Reese's peanut butter cups or chocolate Hershey kisses
1 egg
1 1/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
Mini-muffin tin & mini paper baking cups

Mix shortening, peanut butter and sugars thoroughly. Blend all dry ingredients. Add egg to the shortening-sugar mixture before adding dry ingredients. Mix well. Chill for a few hours in refrigerator. Roll dough into 1 inch balls and place into mini-muffin tins lined with paper baking cups. Bake at 350 degrees 10 to 12 minutes. Remove from oven and immediately press peanut butter cups or kisses into center of hot cookies. Cool.
