CHOCOLATE BREAD PUDDING 
1 pt. fine dry bread crumbs
1 pt. milk
3 tbsp. cocoa
1 tbsp. flour or cornstarch
3 well beaten eggs
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 pt. milk

Soak 1 pint fine dry bread crumbs in 1 pint milk until soft. Combine 3 tablespoons cocoa, 1 tablespoon flour or cornstarch, 3 well beaten eggs, 1/2 cup sugar, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla, another pint of milk. Combine mixtures and pour into 1 quart baking dish. Place dish in pan of hot water, bake one hour in moderate oven, stirring 2 or 3 times.
