PUMPKIN BREAD 
3 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cloves
1 c, cooking oil
3 c. sugar
3 eggs, beaten
2 c. (or 1 can) pumpkin
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. pecans, if desired

Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg and cloves in a large bowl. Combine the remaining ingredients in a separate large bowl. Mix the two combinations until smooth. Bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees. Makes 2 loaves of bread. If you're entertaining and would like round slices, bake this recipe in 7 small cans (such as those for canned vegetables).
