BLUEBERRY SAUCE | |
1/2 c. sugar 1 tbsp. cornstarch 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg 1/2 c. hot water 2 c. blueberries In a small saucepan combine sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon and nutmeg; gradually stir in water. Cook, stirring constantly over low heat until mixture thickens and comes to a boil. Add blueberries and continue stirring until sauce reaches a boil again. Serve warm over ice cream or cake or waffles. Can be reheated. |
