In a large skillet brown 1 pound hamburger and a 1/4 cup of finely chopped bell peppers. (Bell peppers are optional). Remove from heat and drain. 4 to 5 tbsp. mayonnaise 4 tbsp. catsup 2 tbsp. mustard 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 1/4 c. finely chopped onion 1 lg. dill pickle, finely chopped Season to taste. Spoon onto hamburger buns and top with a slice of cheese an bun top. Wrap individually in foil and bake at 300 degrees for a half hour. Or wrap individually in paper towels and microwave 3 or 4 at a time for 90 seconds. This recipe makes 12. If you don't plan to use that many, than wrap good and freeze. The kids can put from freezer into the microwave for a snack. |
