APPLE DONUTS | |
1 1/2 c. flour 1 3/4 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. nutmeg 1/2 c. sugar 1/3 c. butter 1 egg 1/4 c. milk 1/2 c. grated apple 1/3 c. sugar 1 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 c. butter melted Mix until crumbly: 1 1/2 cup flour, 1 3/4 teaspoon baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg, 1/2 cup sugar, 1/3 cup butter. Beat 1 egg. Add to egg: 1/4 cup milk, 1/2 cup grated apple. Pour egg mixture into flour mixture and mix until consistency of donut batter. Spray muffin pans with Pam. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes for small donuts or 20 to 25 minutes for large donuts. While still warm dip donuts in butter and shake in mixture of 1/3 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon. |
