APPLE CRUMBLE 
1 c. flour
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
4 c. apples, pared and sliced (about 4-5 Cortland)
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Blend the flour, butter, and sugar with a pastry blender or fork. Form a well-crumbled mass. Slice the apples into the buttered baking dish. Cover them with the above flour mixture. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes until crust is light brown.
